Really sad our fanbase is so butthurt over the opinion of one guy. I've had a business relationship with Jewelry Warehouse and they are some of the best guys in the licensed goods business.
Nothing good comes from boycotting, hands down, the best supplier of Gamecock goods anywhere on the face of the planet. Some perspective would be appropriate for some of the whack jobs that pull for our program.
Scott.... I hope everything turns quickly for you and this stupid boycott doesn't effect you and your staff.

Bunch of frauds on here. You will ask a company to stop advertising in a bad but you all read the paper or you would not have a clue what Ron the mouth has to say.Stop buying the paper don't threaten to boycott local business owners. Just the wrong way to do things.

I'm in the newspaper industry so let me give my 2 cents.
There are a lot of great people at newspapers across the country, people like you and me that frequent sites like TBS, show up at your tailgates, and cheer for their alma maters. These people are affected if you drop your subscriptions or pull your advertising. I promise you, with this economy, people pulling ads costs newspapers a ton of jobs. Gannett just laid off 700 a few weeks ago, some people I knew. If you want your voice heard, don't pull your ads or cancel your subscription. The best way to make your point is to write the editor about your specific displeasure. Pinpoint your focus, that way their is fewer collateral damage.
Go buy a subscription or buy advertising and if you have a problem, write the editor and write him or her again. Im coming in late to the conversation so I don't completely know the story here, but it sounds like JW had taken a few steps before they pulled the plug temporarily. If so I can respect that.
Go cocks!
