Be careful guys. Half the cops in the state will be on I-85 or I-26 this coming week pulling people over for whatever reason they want. I got pulled over two years ago and still not sure why I got pulled. The Florence cops said the program is to make sure cars are running safely and they're looking for unsafe issues such as faulty brake lights and all. I guess that's why they asked to search my car and I refused. I was beyond pissed. After 30 minutes of harrassment I was let go and never told a real reason why I was pulled over. I figured they'd tell me the usual BS that I was following to close to a car or something, but they didn't even say that. Anyhow I make sure to go backroads to my work during this week. If you have an out of state tag you WILL get pulled for sure. Those guys don't have a chance. Look, I'm all for taking drugs off the street and stopping cars that are speeding dangerously on the interstate, but these guys and Sheriff Chuck Wright take it to a new level.
Spartanburg pretty much has earned this in my opinion. They are the crime and drug Capital of SC.
