I want to personally thank Mykal Moody, Chuck Jordan, and all the Conway Tigers for the epic choke loss to 1-9 Carolina Forest that game my Florence Knights their second straight Region VI-AAAA title. How do you lose that game with a region championship on the line? All kidding aside, Moody is a great player. I don't know about POY though. That might be a stretch. What a down year in SC.

My Conway Tigers certainly gift wrapped that Region Title for you. Moody is hurt, and Smith, the backup, broke his collarbone against Sumter so we were playing behind Sawyer Jordan, senior flanker who was the emergency QB. Still no excuse for losing that game but the O was not firing on all cylinders for sure.

Yes, Sawyer is his youngest. But that was not his son that was involved in the boycott.
The quarterback was the son of the basketball coach who also served as the JV football coach. That player is now the Head Coach at Myrtle Beach High and is a great person. That was a very sad time in our community.
