Agreed, I'd have some combination of Ace, Ellington and either DeAngelo Smith or Kwinton Smith.

Spurrier said during spring practice that he was going to have to get them both on the field. He is working on that. I agree that Ace and Bruce are our best WR's.

Really think our passing game is going to pick up this season. Love having guys who can turn 5 yard slants into TDs, plus burn people for big gains going downfield. That will be fun to watch, especially in tandem with our power running game. Gonna be a fun season.

With moore, smith, smith, brent and jeffrey, there should be plenty of guys that can go get it if they get on the field. Does SOS offense run better with small guys, he always had those small quick twitch guys at UF

People are getting hung up on the fact that our starting wide receivers have not yet been identified. But that might be a better thing than it appears. It looks to me like the wide receivers we can choose from are a pretty darn good bunch of players. Could the issue be trying to figure out who the most talented wide receivers are among a group of very talented wide receivers to begin with?

Good point. Yes, that could certainly be the question.
I sure will miss watching Alshon play for us though. Hopefully he'll continue to amaze us in the pros as well.

I love Ace, really I do, but I am terrified that our #1 receiver stands at 5'8. I really hope that the big freshman can step up to compliment Ace, and hopefully get some production out of Moore, Smith and Brent. Go Cocks!!

One player that Spurrier Jr. highlighted as having a good spring was Alshon’s brother, Shamier Jeffery. The redshirt freshman did miss over half of spring practice before going down with a knee injury. He is, however, back, healthy, and ready to go.
