Probably to see which teammates/players were coming out of their dorms, and nearly causing a riot, due to Sammy being arrested.

Supposedly it got pretty ugly, and the cops actually feared for their well being.

Will be interesting to see if the video released has everyone reading from scripts.

tater cop: "Freeze Dirtbag! Here in Tatertown we don't let anybody off the hook especially football players!"
Sammy: "I'm sorry officer. I was just giving my fellow friend here a ride home in my old beat up pinto."
tater cop: "Is that dope I smell coming from your car and are those illigal pills on the dash?"
Sammy: "Its car freshener and those are my friends heart pills I just picked up for him at the pharmacy because he doesn't have a car."
tater cop 2: "Let's take him in anyway because everybody knows the football players around here are saints and don't do anything wrong. I
know it's wrong but this way it'll show the world how serious we are about arresting football players and not letting them get away
with anything."

Why do I get the feeling this video isn't going to be anywhere close to as dramatic as it's made out to be?

Probably isn't going to be dramatic. But it's worth seeing what type of cadillac he's driving. Good chance it's going to be an older model if they are giving up the video without fight.

There was a letter where his lawyer was ok with people seeing it so I doubt there is anything worthwhile on there.

It's just a traffic stop where they find weed anyway.

Wonder if he's charging Watkins the same he would for any other person?
