  • It just hit me, reading the summary of the video that a tater wrote, that I have been in the back of a police car as a scared youth as well. From all accounts, Watkins was very respectful, and volunteered that he had weed on him to the cop. The cop even thanked him for being so respectful.

    He is not a Marcus-type character guy, but neither am I, to tell you the truth. He is just a college kid that got busted with weed, and I really wish I had not been so anxious to see that video. Sometimes, real-life things happen to the enemy.

    It is funny to happen to dabo, because he deserves everything bad that happens to him, but I wish bad stuff would just happen to dabo, and not good kids like Mr. Watkins, here. He really does seem like a good kid.

    dabo is not a good man, or coach, however. I hope dabo ends up getting arrested for incest for that business with his mama.

    Agree, I believe the Gamecock fans are going to be disappointed. Expecting more than what will be on the video.

    How old are you that you feel the need to refer to a 18-19 year old kid as "Mr"? I, too, have a certain amount of empathy for a kid who made a mistake, but "Mr. Watkins"? Please!!!

    good kid is a stretch. the good kids are at home asleep without drugs in their pockets. but i don't get any pleasure out of seeing this. i do enjoy seeing the faces of all the orange hypocrits though.

  • That's an 08. That is a nice ride. However, whoopi does look like a scared kid and not a hardened thug. I agree with mr. miller on that one. For the first time as an adult, I have a little compassion on a clemson player.

    Radio reported it was an Escalade. That's why we wanted to see the video.

    All the people that said we should leave the Cadillac alone ended up being right, but you only know you're right because pictures are coming out. Save us the "told you so" BS.

    And? Radio, if I remember correctly, reported that Alshon Jeffery had been arrested. Point is nobody knew for certain. My point was, and will be, that it's pointless to even worry about vehicles. Even if it was an Escalade.

  • He is suspended for Auburn which is about the best we could have hoped for after the arrest report was out.

    Players at most schools have to clear their cars with compliance. There are a lot of them at USC, Clemson, and elsewhere with nice'ish rides.

    A lot of the time trouble with cars is when they're caught driving one that isn't theirs.

    i think wanting to see the video stemmed from the recent history of our players problems being splayed all over the front page of the state, while already rare clemson incidents seem to get buried on the fourth/fifth page.

  • Is everything on the radio true? No. So then why were some so sure it was a $30k vehicle? It got reported that it was an Escalade. Some questioned it, myself included. But some were certain, absolutely certain that it was accurate and swore it was cheating by CU. Why?
