I think he'll be an extremely viable back-up quarterback. It might be a bit of a stretch to say that he can be a starting NFL quarterback, but in my opinion he can contribute in a supporting role. At least early on.

Throw 2011 out and remember what he was able to do in 2010. He's got the skills and the ability. With the right NFL coaching he can be molded into a solid back-up. He admitted to not paying as close attention as he should've in college as far as learning under Spurrier. He was more interested in being a college kid, rather than a college QB. He's grown up and I can really tell in the conversations that I have with him. Give him the right coaching and he can thrive, it's really all up to how much he wants it.

Thanks for sharing and I tend to agree with you. In the pros, it's a full time job. He'd have the time to devote to learning the system. He's not likely to be the starting QB in the pros, but I don't think it's entirely out of the question.

The thing that is working against him is that he does not have a track record of being responsible and fully devoted to the task. Has he changed? Only time will tell (if he's given another chance).

I'm extremely disappointed that he did not devote his full attention to being the best he could be for us. I feel like we've been cheated.

Besides being inaccurate, fundementally bad, and not dedicated to his team and getting better..... he is everything you want in a QB.

Why would we throw out 2011? That makes 0 sense. Like it or not, here are his numbers at USC:
Just over 56% completions.
47 TDs to 41 INTs
0-3 in bowl games.
What about those numbers makes you think he's good enough to play in the NFL?
And for the dude who says he deserves a chance - he had 5 of them here. How many more do you think he should get?
