Pow!!!

  • You guys have probably seen Jack "The Hammer" Hamm's infomercials over the years with his gimmicky drivers.

Well, I said wtf and called to look into ordering one(hell for around $100 and a return policy, why not have some fun with it) Anyway I got a young lady on the phone who was trying to take my order but didn't have a clue about shafts, grips, etc. Anyway I said I'll think about it(politely saying no of course).

About a week later, I got a call from The Hammer himself. I doubt it was an inpersonator as his voice matched the infomercials I've seen over the years. Anyway had a discussion on why I didn't buy it mainly because of lack of info on their shafts. This dude proceeds to tell me their shaft will work for old cojers to swing speeds of 150mph LOL!....the ole "the one shaft fits all" type of bs. I told him I was in the fitting business at one time and he got a little nervous, lol. The fellow seemed really desperate for an order and offerd to knock 40 bucks off it. Didn't strike me as the sharpest tool in the shed as he also comes across on the infomercials over the years, but I did appreciate the effort on his behalf.

And no, I didn't buy it....but may because he made a personal follow up.

    Anyone bought one of these?

  • If it's on an infomercial it's a guaranteed piece of garbage. But you have an opportunity to possibly troll an infomercial guy in real life. Is it worth $60? Your call.

    ya think?

The kick point "one for all, all for one!" concerns me more than anything.

It is pathetic and cracks me up everytime it. His club is probably a joke as well, but for $60 and return policy it might be worth some fun on the range.
