Praise God! Christian made it out of the OR. They did the full repair and everything went as expected. He does have a pacemaker for the next few days. The doctors expect him to be off te pacemaker within three days, but there is a chance he will have to have one permanently. The doctor said it went as close to perfect as possible. They also closed his chest rather than leaving it open to deal with the swelling. We should be able to see him soon. We will keep posting updates as he recovers. I want to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who said some kind words and prayers. Please keep them coming!!
