Dare I say Boyd is a better QB right now than Garcia. Sorry guys, but his passes were good, accurate and on time. Can't say the same for Garcia. And hate to say this too, but Watkins is a beast. Once AJ is gone, they will have the best WR of the 2 schools. As of today at least. And I do think Clemson can and will beat FSU next week. FSU I believe is overrated, especially if Manuel can't play.

Defenses boyd has faced are ranked 109 - troy, 117 - auburn, and 85 in the fcs in wofford.
Also has played at home not saying he is not good but his body of work hasn't been against anybody worth a crap.
Fsu defense is ranked 5th. He and clemsons defense produce this weekend then let's talk -

Bama was the defending natty champs & #1 team in the country before we beat them & was pretty much everybody's consensus pick to win the MNC. They had pretty much their whole nucleus intact from their championship the previous year, their Heisman winner & all. That's a lot different from an Auburn team that is not even close to a shell of themselves from their championship run. They lost Newton, Fairly, & 16 starters, give me a break.

I'm aware that Alabama was number 1, exactly why I said you can claim they were a fraud because they lost 3 games. Also, they had 2 returning starters on defense last year which is hardly a nucleus. A total of 10 overall which is a very small number to bestow upon the number 1 team.

Honest answer, no I don't. But that was not my point. My point is all I've seen or read is that Clemson should not be ranked, nor be excited about beating a fraud. I'm just making a comparitive point that nor should South Carolina fans continue to refer to Alabama being the top ranked team. Either Alabama was the best team in the country and Auburn was the 21st team in the country OR, they are both frauds and neither wins appear to be as significant as once thought.
While the scope of the wins are different in terms of the rankings at game time, you still can not down play one and pump the other when in Hindsight (a word I used in a previous post) Alabama was clearly a fraudulent number 1, losing 3 games.
A number one team loses 0-1 games in a year. Alabama lost 3, three times as many as a number 1 should lose. A number 21 team loses 3 games in a year, sometimes 4. Auburn is expected to lose at least 5 or 6, double the typical loss total for a 21st ranked team. So, it looks like both teams were or are expected to be equally 'fraudulent'.
My only point is you see comments like: not a good win, auburn is terrible, they aren't number 21, they are a fraud.
So, South Carolina should be happy about beating a good Alabama team last year, but not as ground breaking as it's made out to be since they were clearly not supposed to be ranked there.
