Just a quick note or two on the QB. And I am NOT knocking Connor at all as I think he's done an Ok job considering, just proving my point earlier in the season when I stated, the team had more issues than the QB play.
Connor is completing 62% (which is great) of his passes and averaging 169 yards passing per game since he took over full time. You take out the Kentucky game, he is averaging 119 ypg passing. Stephen was averaging 168 ypg. Connor has thrown 6 Td's to 4 picks which is great, but we have to be able to move the ball in the air. Connor is taking off out of the pocket way to much, and taking way too many sacks. Now it's not all his fault, but it's gotta get better. Oline is a major concern.
Connor has been sacked 15 times losing 88 yards in 6 games. He has 70 rush attempts for 90 yards (avg. of 1.3 per carry)
Stephen was sacked 6 times losing 20 yards in 5 games. He had 34 rush attempts for 141 yards (avg. of 4.1 per carry)
My point is just to show you that the team has major issues with the OLINE blocking, and I mean major. I rarely ever point out negative things, but the Oline needs major help or we will continue to struggle. Now Connor is injured, god help us if he cannot go. I don't know who to blame for the Oline though, I mean Elliot has been here 3 years, and I love his tenecity, but we are 9 games into the season and it seems to be getting worse. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Isnt this only Elliot's second year? Also, I do agree with the blocking issues. On the play where CS was knocked out of the game if you watch our tight end is lined up over bequitte. Tight end goes sraight out into the pattern leaving Cann who has not played tackle much at all to have to step over to block the de who crushes shaw. I do not know if it was planned or if the tight end missed his assignment but I would think you would have at least given a one second block on the de before the tight end goes out into the pattern just to slow him long enough for Cann to get over there.
