Question for the board? Eddie Printz

  • What happened with the recruitment with this guy? Did we push or did we like Mitch better? He looked really good in the Siemper-Fidelis game.

  • When I was watching he got sacked and didn't complete a pass. I didn't watch much though. He may have played more.

He didn't look bad at all on that last game winning drive. He made a few plays couple of nice throws and got out of sure danger at least a couple of times on that drive. Coaches like Mitch better so I am going to trust the coaches on this one.

  • He was at the SOS camp two summers ago when my son was there and we got a chance to sit with him at lunch and he seemed like a good kid and pretty grounded. Ibeas very surprised to hear that he comitted at least to two different schools that I can remember. On the field however he was not someone that stood out other than the fact he was 6'3". After we got home I researched him nd a couple of other players and was VERY surprised to see he was a three star. I am a little prejudiced but if my son were 6'3" he is every bit as good as Eddie. I wish nothing but the best for Printz regardless. It will be interesting to watch him at Mizzou, hopefully he will be there for the longhaul.

He committed and decommitted from both SMU and UCLA. He always seemed to be waiting for a better offer, such as UGA, UF, Bama or USC, and finally had to pick a good SEC program like Mizzou.

This. Mora didn't think he was a good fit for the O. I'm pretty sure the guy who recruited him from SMU was hired by UCLA as well prior to his decommiting. Jones trying to leave for ASU likely didn't help their cause either. He was behind Mitch and others on our board, which was the deal with us.

From all accounts, there is nothing wrong with the kid personally. Here is his side of the UCLA deal.
