Recruiting ?

  • Just curious to see how many of you are die hard recruiting followers. I used to follow recruiting until the Carlos Dunlap fiasco. I was so excited to land him and it was a foregone conclusion he would have been a cock. I felt like a child who had accidentally dropped his last few skittles down a gutter when he spurned us. I told myself I would stop getting all bent out of shape from the decisions 18 yr olds make, but now I feel like I'm missing something inside. It seems like most of you know your stuff ab recruiting based on the "ask tony" thread. I only follow new recruits after we get the commit. But who are your top 5 must gets that are uncommitted and what positions do they play?

    I told myself I wouldnt do it bc I was SO pissed. My life actually was a little less stressful but now I feel out of the loop recruiting wise. I want to try and learn some things today regarding our target recruits.

  • Will never forget my friend who was close with Dunlap saying that he was going to Florida the day before announcement an I just laughed at him because all Insiders were so sure he was a Cock Lock.

    Left work early and got home just in time to stream the announcement and will never forget him doing the Gator chomp was stunned. Culliver made up a little bit of the pain but still was completely shocked.

    I have been logging in with my email since I started. The only time I have ever typed it was when I created it. It actually isn't annoying at all. How about I switch it to my name like jbaker. How original is that for ya?

    I don't have as much time to devote to all the prospects early in the process every year. But, I still very much enjoy our recruiting b/c now it's bigger and better due to on the field success.
