  • she been in 5 points, she goes to his house at 11pm...I am not ready to throw the book at the guy just yet. we all know many, many, many circumstances where a scorned woman has cried rape. case in point, see SC running back who was just released from jail.

    Some reports are stating she told the cops they had sex and she did not consent. What would you call that? I call it rape. I do think more men should be aware of this and possibly file charges of their own as well. It happens too often that two drunk coeds hook up at the bar and then have sex while both are extremely inebriated. Neither had the ability to give consent so they are both guilty of the crime.

    Jesus Christ, dude. Please delete your post. You shouldn't broadcast the fact that you think banging an unconscious woman isn't rape. This is exactly what I was talking about.

    3rd degree CSC is rape where you don't beat the snot out of the woman. Trust me, I am well familiar with the statute. And it is not "an entirely different animal altogether."

    Maybe we should take a poll --- how many posters on this board "scorned" a woman only to have her accuse you of rape? Show of hands? Yeah, happens all the time.

    He may well be innocent, but he shouldn't be a Gamecock until he is adjudged so. That's the nature of the world we live in.

    This is what I'm saying. If you choose to get drunk, then you have taken into your own hands the responsibility of the things you do WHILE you are drunk. Just saying, "Oh, I was drunk, so I didn't know what I was doing" ain't gonna cut in in my book. You have the choice to drink or not. Personally, I choose NOT to get drunk.

    Again, I'll say. Innocent until proven guilty. Carolina, unlike climpsun, suspends immediately upon arrest. USC assumes you are guilty and releases you from whatever sport you are connected with. Let's go back to the Duke Lacrosse team issue. Everybody was so quick to believe this lieing whore and just couldn't wait to hang all these guys and it wasn't until after months of legal wrangling and millions of dollars spent by their parents, did they determine that she had falsely accused these guys.

    What if this is what's going on with this guy? How does he get his reputation back? The punishment for falsely accusing is not even remotely close to the crime that is accused.
