Like most college baseball players, he is on a partial scholarship. This McWhorter scholarship is also for post-graduate studies, or graduate school.

I wonder if they still have a time limit on using the money . When Dyson won, there was a point when he thought he was going to have to make a decision between continuing to play pro ball or using the McWhorter money . I never heard how it turned out .
