His tweets and involvement with Wes probably didn't help our case but that's not what got the NCAA looking into us in the 1st place.

Certainly I wish all of this would never had happened. However, mistakes were made and we did break the rules. Once the NCAA gets on your campus (as we all know) then almost anything can happen. This was money well spent and I congratulate Carolina for the professional way they had this investigated and the measures that were taken.

I believe this buys us some "capital" with the NCAA and they know we are doing things the right way to the best of our ability.

The relative small amount that has been written from all sources shows the money was well spent in preventing further damage to our program. Only two questions were asked during the "press conference" with the NCAA Representative where he praised Carolina on the way we dealt with this. That was worth the half million alone.

Weren't all the investigators being paid a salary anyway? All this investigating should have been done in house by people already paid by the university. We spent a half-million dollars to investigate $59,000 in illegal benefits. Come on. man!
