The guy shot like 38% this year and took more 3-point shots than just about anyone else in the nation. He is not a team player. Unfortunately, Holloway won the game for them yesterday while Henderson certainly contributed but shot about 40%. He is a hotdog and ball hog. He is on his 4th team this season and has had several drug and legal issues. Did not deserve 1st team SEC in the SEC T IMO. BTW - I was there for all the games in Nashville and he is an arse even during breaks in the game while the cameras are not on him. He also sulks and does not take coaching well especially when he is missing his shots which is often.

Yet he led the league in scoring. And he was tournament MVP.

He is a cocky a-hole who celebrates selfishly and drinks cammy cam juice. He also dissed America in his Heisman speech by basically admitting what his dad did without actually saying it.

If you change one thing about Marshall Henderson, he would instantly go from one of the most popular (though controversial) players in the SEC to one of the most vilified. Henderson actually deserves the criticism he gets and more, and it won't be the last time his histrionics and lack of character costs him in life.

Our players celebrate wins as well. He was by far the best player in the nation, so he backed it up. You are showing your ignorance again.

Auburn fans and Cecil newton did not make the all sec team. Their actions do not have any relevance.

It is funny how you are saying character should not matter but are saying cam should not have won awards hecuse of character. Make up your mind.

Not sure he should be first team all SEC. Can't play a lick of defense and just shoots the ball at will.

He's a good scorer, but mostly because he shoots as often as possible and his coach gives him a bigger green light than anyone in the league.

That guy from Alabama, Releford, is better oversll than Henderson, IMO.. You could make the argument that Henderson could get the nod over McRae, but Releford is better.

Wouldn't compare it to Cam at all. Cam was clearly the est football player in America that year and it wasn't close. Saw him against us in person twice. Have never seen Carolina go against a better player (includes Herschel, Tebow, Marino (which was the best id seen us play) and anyone else since 1980.

Henderson wasn't clearly a first team all SEC. I think it was debatable. He shoots and scores more than anyone, but doesn't add a whole lot else. Usually, the leading scorer makes it. Also, this team was selected prior to the end of the tournament. If thy would have waited until after the tournament, Jenderson probably one of made it.

What am I missing? Is this Marshall Henderson guy from Sc? Why the interest in whether an Ole Miss player makes all conference award squad?
