As JC said, this is something we were on top off 1-2 weeks ago. To some degree, it was just a matter of that info finally trickling down to Davis.
N.C. State's gonna be his most attractive option if he wants to choose any time soon.

A lot of people complained when Smith didn't have an offer. Our coaches were taking their time and making sure they got it right before offering. This shouldn't be a shock

You are correct 3.0. He could have pulled the trigger then and be Gamecock bound now. As JC has told everyone the Carolina staff told all the WR prospects that there were few WR slots and highly desirable to elite recruits being offered them. There may or may not be a scholarship slot for those who waited. This was reported in the Cherokee Chronicle(Gaffney newspaper) quoting Gaffney's head coach the day before Korn's report. Carolina must feel good about Diggs, who is an elite recruit.Carolina is still in contact with Gaffney coaching staff so just wait and see if there is a slot for Davis or not.

Davis had his chance but waited. He was offered before Smith. Also you have to remember that Smith is attached to the Dillon crew.
