Steve, for you I'll make a thread in the next few days explaining my thoughts on JR. I'll include stats, comparisons, and plenty of facts on why I came to that conclusion. I'll even include why I brought up Dabo.
It will probably be lengthy and boring.
RMC can join in as well.
Hopefully it will explain some things and people who actually read it will think "oh well that makes sense" but it will probably mostly lead to people calling me a hater and mentioning Sidney.

I'm sorry, this is just not correct. Bobby Petrino is/was a mastermind at exploiting mismatches with his WRs and getting them the ball in space where they can run after the catch. I made a fool of myself yelling at the TV these past few years watching their WRs and TEs run free against our defense.
Exhibit A: our game vs. them this past year, Joe Adams (I believe, could've been Jarius Wright or any of their other speed demons) got matched up on D. Jeffery and got behind him by a couple steps for a long TD. Very much wide open.
Exhibit B: our game vs. them 2 years ago in Fayatteville, the play right before halftime, Mallet hits their TE wide open running across the field and they get a huge gainer and either score a TD or FG right before the half. Nobody was close to him on that play either that I can recall.

Facts are, we have good receivers. You cannot tell me that other schools would not have given Ace, Bruce, KJ, Shamiere, Damiere, Fuller, Kwinton and all them scholarships. We have a young group. One of the best 3 receivers to ever play at USC just left for the NFL. 3 of the best EVER to play at USC have played under Bubba. That is the one and only argument.

No, the facts are we have alot of WRs who are unproven to date.
Ace has 54 career catches and 4 TD in 2 years at South Carolina (27 games, so he's averaging 2 rec/gm). Ellington has 17 catches and 1 TD in his 1 year of playing football. Damiere Byrd is credited with 1 rec for 16 yards for the entire 13 game season in 2011 on ESPN.com. The rest of those guys have yet to play a down, so you can't automatically say they are good just because they had a nice offer sheet coming out of HS. So did OJ Murdock, Chris Culliver, Carlos Thomas, Joe Hills, etc.and you see how they turned out at the WR position for us.
For the record, I am not saying our WRs are bad or SOS Jr. is a bad coach or anything like that. I just don't see how anyone can look at the position and automatically assume it's going to be a position of strength based on what has been proven on the field to date.

Quit bitching because you dont like the fact that Jr. is SOSs son. He is the best WR coach we have ever had, has brought in more talent than any other WR coach ever has, and has produced the best statistical players we have ever had/ Jr. is one of the best in the business.
