I'd like to read your thoughts on how this football program has been able to win 19 games in the last two seasons?

I guess I've read 25 or so...most trashing Al or worshiping the YES god. Additional money and a program of that nature was needed but our mishandling of communications over that period cost us 1/3 the Gamecock Club....some were going to g anyways, due to the doubled cost of tix but that was handled with the finesse of a Panzer tank. The SHAME of that loss was magnified by the first expense being 50 MILLION on an AD building and tennis courts which a football recruit never sees nor would care about if he did see.

Good question Al and could have been a good discussion. Over the past 20 years we probably have cheaped out on Football Coaching salaries which primarily cost us in the 90s. Lou attracted good assistants but SOS didnt so I dont think money was a factor since 2000. SOS' 1st staff was awful.....please recall the (stand upright/3 point) DL deal plus the ST guy and and the awful selection of an OL coach. Our first staff still affects our success and byt that I mean the OL.
So if you are talking history...YES
If recent history and the present...NOT likely

I do not expect to lose any coaches because of money but if we do I have a real problem with YES being implemented. Note, YES was implemented on football seating and not other sports so football should get the majority of the money generated by the YES Program.
