So Morris has also learned to lie since he's been in Tiger Town

  • "Tajh Boyd told the media after practice on Thursday that if Chad Morris had left, it probably would have impacted his decision on whether to enter NFL Draft.

Boyd said that Morris has had an impact on his career, would have been hard to start over.

As a side note, Chad Morris told the team he really was never close to leaving, that media made it bigger than it was." bs_sign

He is a man looking to get out. But nobody will take him. And his only option is to leave as a HC. So he may be there a few years.

He might have made a deal with the devil thinking he couldn't lose. Now he has to win and keep winning or the house of cards falls down around him. He gets paid well now but could lose his ultimate goal of being a division one head coach if he can't prove his offense can compete against real defenses.

  • That's funny.

The truth is that if he could keep himself from farting during interviews, he would have been gone three times this year. Interviews go something like this.

AD: "So, Mr Morris, is it true that you have only unleashed 3% of your offense on college football? Ahem.....did you fart Mr. Morris?"

    Chad: "was that me?"

  • Wonder what universities with openings will think if LSU manhandles the kitties.

    62cocks

  • Hard to think of many potential HC openings next year since so many teams have either strong, entrenched HCs or relatively recently hired HCs.

Maybe: SMU, Mizzou, Maryland, Illinois, Minnesota, GT, Kansas and/or So Cal (the big one!).

  • ive been saying for a long time, if morris is going to leave clemson its going to be for a lower tier non AQ hc position.

no AQ team is going to give him a HC shot after just 3 years of being an OC in college football, and he's not going to leave for a lateral position.

something will open up for him next year, though.

Yeah I was never close to leaving because even though I interviewed for every open job out there, I knew no one would hire me. I was really just hoping that Clemson would be stupid enough to give me more money

  • Now he has time to install the other 35 percent of that offense. Lots of variations of jet sweeps and bubble screens coming.

  • ESPN Spartanburg listed the openings still out there in CFB yesterday. LA Tech should go full throttle after him if they can offer his current salary. I think that's close enough to Texas to make him leave.

I think that job's already been offered to (and accepted by) Skip Holtz.

To answer the OP's question...no, he didn't learn to lie since he has been there, it was a prerequisite to get the job to begin with!

Morris will get a head job soon, I'm certain of that. Too many people, right or wrong, think very highly of him. In the meantime, he's making $1.3 million building his reputation against ACC defenses. Brilliant, in my opinion!
