So my neighbor who is a Georgia Fan...

  • tells me he's "Sorry about South Carolina". I could not help but laugh in his face.

What exactly his he sorry about? Sorry that we have beaten them twice in a row? Sorry that we have passed them in the east (despite them backing into the SECCG this season b/c of their schedule)? Sorry that we are stealing great recruits out of their backyard? Sorry that it will be three in a row next year?

I can see them losing to Ga Tech and limping into the SECCG (assuming they beat KY), they will get killed by LSU and then probably lose their bowl game.

Meanwhile, we will finish 10-2 overall by beating a top 10 tater team and then go to a better bowl game than them. I'm sure he'll still be sorry for us then too. shrug

I cannot wait to make it 3 in a row on them next year with Latti getting his usual 180-200 yards on them.

I live in ATL so I have a little extra disdain for the pups right now.

I know how you feel brother. I live in Lawrenceville and it is awful. They were no where to be found after the first two weeks and now they are coming out of the wood works.

  • I agree with all that.

  • I've hated listening to rivals radio all week. all the talk of the SECCG with uga and whomever from the west. Granted the KY game is a fore drawn conclusion, BUT! it still must be played. And if the team is overlooking KY as the fans are, look out & LMOA!

I agree. They love talking about Georgia and I don't know why. Georgia may get another pass next year on there schedule...they were scheduled to play Bama but I bet they come off now with the new additions of A&M and Mizzou.

  • Live in ATL. Heard it all. All I tell them is 45-42; two years in a row; in your house w a QB that isn't even our roster right now. Blow me. Oh yeah... Fire Richt!!

Yea I do the same. I always wear my Garnet and Black proud and even though they are most likely going to Atlanta they still say nothing to me. LOL.

My sister lives in Lawrenceville also. She actually works with one of Shaw's former coaches. She's a Carolina fan, but her son is a UGA fan since that's where he was born and is being raised. I always make sure I have my Carolina gear on when I'm down there.

I've actually been to a couple of Flowery Branch games. I always have my Carolina gear on and those people really love the Gamecocks. Not just the Shaws but all of them.

I've probably seen more Georgia flags this week then the entire year. It is sickening.

apparently he's not being raised very well, with all that barking and carrying on. JMO.

Yeah I always give him a hard time whenever I see him. He's only 12 though so I can't be TOO harsh on him. His dad doesn't care one way or the other. At least his little brother is all Gamecock.

Sounds about right. The big three don't realize it yet, but we are competing on their level now. In my opinion we have passed Tennessee and are about equal to Georgia and Florida. We will be very competitive in the East for several more years.

We're neighbors, I live in Suwanee and uga fans were silent until the uf game and then got tamped back up to normal obnoxious levels after auburn last week

  • Sick of hearing about UGA's schedule. Ours was 1 game tougher in Arkansas but guess what they thrashed Auburn and we lost to them. We both had it about as easy as possible.

There is only one solution to this issue. Next time you are at his house, you must deliver "The Upper Decker."

At that point, if he apologizes again, you can just laugh & tell him that it's ok.

Arkansas would have beaten the Pups. We would have beaten Ole Miss.

Upper decker is pretty intense...I can only imagine that mess. You'd have to make sure you were in the clear for a while for blame. Maybe have a few beers, roofy him, then either sharpie his face to take him to get a gamecock tat on his lower back
