    Has Furman definitely been determined to be the "Home Team" for this game? I know they are in Greenville, but they play their typical home games on campus. Either way, I've got a box seat on the 2nd row right behind home and... the stadium is only 2 miles from MY home!! (-;

    Furman is the home team as i understand it. Game is not on campus because it was determined the stadium is not large enough to accommodate the number of fans they expect, and was therefore moved to Fluor Field.

    Yeah... Flour Field is a great venue & I've got to see Carolina play Furman there the last several years. Was thinking Carolina was the "home" team there at least once, but maybe I'm thinking of the "neutral" game there w/Clemson. I've seen Carolina play both Wofford & "Upstate" on their campuses. I guess if S'burg had a venue as nice as Flour, those games would have possibly been played there with those teams acting as "hosts"

    We are always the visitor against Furman.

    We were the home team against clemson last year up there.

    You're right. This is a "home" FU game that is played downtown to accommodate the crowd. FU gets 1/2 the gate so they don't mind. It might be played on campus in the future as FU is doing major renovations to the baseball field and is expected to be nice and add a few seats.

    From what I hear FU is expected to start this kid.
