Our players do not have rich uncles to help out.
its sad when those close to the player have their own best interest ahead of the players.
Gurley will not be drafted if he enters the draft and if he is drafted it will be in the 6th or 7th round.
"We played in a place called DeathValley, I looked up in the fourth quarter & the only ones still alive were the Gamecocks." Steve Spurrier
Why does it seem we always have a couple of players hell-bent on making horrible decisions about their future because a family member needs money? Said family member is going nowhere as the money can wait. Folks may be tired of the comparison but CU players apparently do not have family members in financial despair.
Hope Gurley didn't throw away his orange apron from home depot. Because he will be right back there if he leaves school. He has no business leaving early.
Go! Fight! Win! Kick Ass!
0Cock is dead on.
However, I don't wonder. The circumstances are self explanatory.
Take a look at Wonderlic12's G.P.A. That shows me right there they are being taken care of like a baby in Pickens. We expect kids to study, go to class, and to act like a student athlete. Fact is, most 20 y/o's don't want to go to class and study if given an easier option.
They take care of 'em in Pickens County. Too bad it hasn't helped them on the field recently.

Well I guess this just creates more playing time for the younger guys. If he is not smart enough to see that he should come back then see you down the road. I always thought he would bolt early anyhow.
Poor guy has no chance. Sad that he has to learn the hard way. He thinks he's "old" at 23.
Really doesnt hurt our team. It's a one-sided loss. We still have 3 big WRs with starting experience. Will allow us more speed in the slot.
Two grand boys, Two state championships. 3-peat USC
Yes they do but Hyman/Spurrier won't allow it and make it very clear to players and boosters that is the case. A whole lot of us wanted to help Sidney but knew that it would not be allowed much less condoned. I sat beside Rice mom at his last Carolina game in Memphis and that is the position of our athletic department.
