This is absolutely ridiculous. If Ward is this concerned about having someone he knows on his staff, then it's a real red flag. As the head coach, Spurrier needs to put his foot down here, whether Ward likes it or not. With the multitude of good candidates available, hiring this guy would be utter nonsense. He's not even on the staff of a Sun Belt or FCS team. He's not even the high school's head coach. He's a damn assistant coach for a high school team. I mean, seriously, I don't like getting worked up over these things, but you'd almost think it was a joke.
