Two of of the best wr's in our history went in the 2nd round...Ace's production and measurables are nowhere near theirs. I wish him the best but I hope he made his decision on factors other than being drafted in the 2nd round.

I love Ace, I really do. He is quick, tough, and a good team player. He also obviously studies and understands kick coverage philosophy...but he is not an NFL talent. He doesn't have the speed, separation, or height to be a receiver. I think of Ace as a returner first, WR second. Again, he is 4.5-4.6 at best, and at 5-7 he has a huge hill to climb to be a talent in the NFL. I love college football, but I understand that the pros are something altogether different. It's a different game, with different requirements - and I don't think Ace meets them. 5th round or above would be more than generous.
What would be a real shame and a huge embarrassment would be to compromise his amateur status just to go undrafted.

I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubble gum.
