    I think that's one of the reasons he hasn't looked very good lately. He hasn't practiced for a few weeks now.

    We'll probably let a back-up defensive tackle sling it around and see what happens. Or give snaps to the other quarterbacks.

  • I heard one of the NFL talking heads say Andy Reid feels like if a QB misses a week of practice it takes about half of the next game to get back to normal. I think him not being able to practice is a bigger deal than it may appear. Hard to get a rhythm with one guy out there all week and then the other guy coming in for the game.

  • Definitely not liking our momentum heading into this one...the level we played at home to wofford...the yards we've gave up to two passing offense's at home granted that TN has a nfl o line and arkansas has an nfl qb and clemson doesnt posses either...it still just doesnt make me feel good that for one its an away game and we all know how those have went so far and to top that off with clowney is a wait and see, lattimore is out, shaws injured and hardly practicing...AND thier seniors want a win before they leave thier last home game...sounds like a lot of pressure which we havent dealt well with since georgia came to town...i just hope we can pull our whits together and show what carolina football is about like we did that night

    there was no reason to put him out there having a buncha guys that look like TBS posters diving at his knees with the big game 7 days away.
    he was as "injured" vs arky and ut IMHO and would have certainly played yesterday if needed

    I personally agree with you that he will play this weekend and that their intentions were to rest his foot during a game we didnt need him in. but my overall message was i just wish we had the momentum coming in we should have had if we could play as a consistant high level team that i know and all the fans know we are. Just from a fans perspective it seems like its not a question of overall team talent but more of a psychological problem like that SOME players cant maintain thier focus for some reason along with inconsistant effort levels

    i feel ya, but i see a little more positive in sllep walking thru a gimmie til it gets serious, then opening up a comfortableish win. we've seen that many times in recent years before a big game. it seems like a vanilla game is planned sometimes(ncsu,vandy,ecu, this year uk etc)...maybe HBC now views clem as a biiiiig game--i sure hope so. yesterday was not nearly as bad as the last wofford game. didnt dakota walker make a play, late that didnt seal it but saved it?

    i am confident that HBC will throw the kitchen sink at clem and will win going away

  • Well i have a few things to say im a pipe welder so grammer isnt among my daily studies more importantly i wasnt writting an essay and im not now so i could care less about grammer...i thought this was a fan site where everyone was on each others side but after reading a few of the live game threads and posting my opinion a few times it seems more like everyone has it out for one another...real disapointed in the way that not all, but most of our fanbase carries themselves on this site...im sure ill get some MORE ugly post from this post but i could really care less at this point im just here for the articles now guys...oh and ill go ahead and give this one a 50 for all the errors i made. have a good day at work guys
