The best players play. Garcia plays so he is better than Shaw, plain and simple. Sadly, we have no starter or backup at the qb position that can play.

It's a reflection on Shaw. Garcia haters or Spurrier haters or Carolina haters or whoever can claim what they want, but it's a reflection on Shaw.

I hope he can come in next week and play well but clearly Spurrier did not think as of tonight that he was better than terrible.

Spurrier is going to play the best QB regardless of what any nutjob here thinks. Spurrier wants to win games and he'll play the best QB. It's pretty clear that Shaw is not that person as of this game. I hope he is starting tomorrow, but I have doubts.

How can it be a reflection on Shaw when he's better in practice and practice is really the only meaningful time he's had to play? I say give him 2 full games, and if he's just as bad as Garcia, pull him. But honestly, I think a few high school quarterbacks would do better than Garcia at this point.
