Spurrier hires good coaches. Why are y'all worrying?

Ellis Johnson, GA Mangus, and Shawn Elliott. When all 3 were hired people complained about them being old, washed up, small school, never heard of him, etc. All 3 turned out to be GREAT hires. Some complained when Ward got promoted. I'm not ready to call him a great hire but he passed his first test wih flying colors. Some of y'all need to step of the ledge and let the HBC make the hires he wants. He's been doing a pretty damn good job of it lately.

His hands may be tied a bit due to budget restrictions. We care 10th in the SEC in asst. salaries, so there should be some concern.

It's funny (or sad) but we just finished the best year in the history of our program and there is a group of posters that did nothing but complain from game one to the end of the season. Sit back and enjoy the ride- Trust your coach .

Don"t forget that Coach Spurrier brought in Coach Fitzgerald too. I don't think it's any coincidence that the product on the field has improved greatly with the hire of these guys.

Shout it from the mountain top Tripp! Our coaches have a lot more experience at hiring another coach than anyone on this board. I say let them do their job.

they're worrying about dire hypotheticals.
I can't see anyone's hands being tied by money concerns, considering that we just unloaded our most expensive assistant, and even if they give Ward all of EJ's salary, Ward wasn't working Pro Bono before. If they decide to pick candidate A instead of B, it will not be because they couldn't afford to pay candidate B enough.
IMO, it's the same batch who always assumes that, given the chance, our BOT, athletic department, and football administration will make the wrong decision. Trust in any portion of our football leadership to make correct decisions is anathema to this crowd. My advice, ignore it until any one of their dire predictions comes true.
I also don't have time to teach you how to speak hobo.
