That is a very good point.
The fact that we are upset about some things is telling about the success SOS has had-along with expectations.
What is upsetting is how bad we looked on both sides of the ball for the majority of the game, against a Ga team that is headed for 7-5.

SG looked terrible for most of the night and then was money outiside the pocket while on the run with 2 big throws.
I don't think we have a qb that can do any better, and SOS doesn't think we do either.
Believe that atmosphere would have really rattled Shaw. Stephen might look like crap throwing the ball at times, but nothing is going to scare or rattle him.

I thought the throw to Ace Sanders on the sideline was huge and was a key play in that game! Not his best game overall, but, big time players make big time plays in big time games! We had a team full, as well! Huge win!

Uhhh he's had others this bad, like FSU bowl game, SEC champ game, second half Ky. He is Mr. Inconsistency.

Wow, I spent most of the game thinking that there is no way we win with Garcia playing like he did. It's a good thing our D & Special Teams stepped up tonight.
I was so angry in the first half I was wondering who payed the boy to play so bad. He had 3 throws early in the half that weren't even close to receivers. I could have thrown closer to those receivers than he did.
If we hope to win big this year, he definitely is going to have to step his game up. No way we will win our games against the SEC West teams if he plays against them the way he played tonight.

EarShot, big kudos on the advice for a route to Athens other than Hwy 441, live in Concord/Charlotte, was parked in 4 hours including a some stops, used your route, stopped in Ila @ Chubs BBQ and got tailgate grub, killer ribs and they even had mustard sauce; owner there told us another handy short cut, never had more the 3/4 cars in front of me at a stop light, if we ever catch up the first one is one me.

I can't say that yesterday was Garcia's worst game. Last year's bowl game was pretty bad.

The worst game of his career is easily the --Outback Bowl -- , though it might have been colored slightly by my mild case of pneumonia and a great deal of medication.

I was trying to make a point and it was a valid one. Don't take things so literraly. He played terrible, something is going on with his mechanics which aren't the best to begin with. Anyway, in the past when he plays this way we typically lose. The point ws that we were capable pulling this one out even though he wasn't on top of his game.
I'm honestly not sure he doesn't have something wrong with him, there is no zip on his ball and everything seems to be sailing on him. Either way, he battled and I'm proud of his effort. The guy is certainly a warrior.
