Thanx, JW! You have been on top of this since day 1, and have been great throughout! We all appreciate all the stuff you have put together on this, and how you have answered all of our questions.
This is the first day of the next era in the rise of USC athletics. If you listen to Ray Tanner, that dude gets it. He is going to take our program to the next level, and then the next, and so on.
I am very happy for Ray, and we, as fans, deserve to have Ray as our AD, because we deserve the best athletics program in the country. We should all be pumped.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.

I have complete confidence that Ray will be a great AD and build on what Eric Hyman started. Dr. Pastides is my favorite president ever and he made the choice. Hearing that Waddell and O'Connell are staying aboard just sweetens the deal for me.

Fantastic job Whittle as you outscooped evereyone on the details.
What is the inside story on Brad Edwards not getting a deputy AD slot as was he never offerred (if not why) and if so did he turn it down?

Yes it is official...he will be formally announced at a press conference Monday morning at 11.

AD Tanner seems elated with his new job. My misgivings about the hiring process aside, it's pleasing to see a nice guy do well for himself.
