The day I waste my time composing a post like that, shoot me.

The one thing they do want, and are realizing more and more how big a deal it is and that they may not be able to do anything about it, is our revenues vs. theirs. It is a huge advantage for us, has a lot to do with the ability to recruit better athletes, and is why they are talking so much about conference options (even though they may not have any). They will continue to focus on the past because for them the future is not very bright.

What's interesting is that they believe that the Big 12 will surpass the SEC by bringing in FSU and Clemson.

Really now?

At the end of the day, they all go back and sit behind their computers, or in their recliners with the blinds pulled tight, and hide under the covers, afraid of the dark garnet and black clouds hovering above them wherever they go.

When the present is not what you want it to be, and the foreseeable future looks even worse, it's nice to have a fairy tale past to turn to.

But only if you've bought and paid for that fairy tale past! These idiots get more delusional with each USC (that's THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA to all you DA tater lukers) beating. Even the dumbest of the dumb are starting to see the broad gap in revenue created by us being the SEC and them being in the EZZ. It takes a boat load of money to keep upgrading facilities, and try to stay on the curve. It's taken 10 boat loads to catch up to middle of the pack and take the lead on certain fronts (Baseball being one, the Dodie being another). Clemtech cannot compete because they have incompetent leadership (Terry don leroy bill bob joe wayne bubba Don Phillips), an insurance salesbrat for a HC, all their $$$ goes to feeding fat scott, and any left over goes in the bagmans bag to get overrated uber ignorant 5* washouts like Bellamy. According to some they had the lead in facilities when Tammy got the EZ project done. To me a dump is a dump and clempscum would be a dump if it were paved in gold, diamonds, the road signs we beautiful... The place will always SUCK! We've gone from the ground up with SOS, and are starting to see the benefits. Winning the E, and then having the most wins ever in separate seasons. We know what the baseball team has done and Ray built from the ground up though he had some historical tradition to work with the SOS did not (take nothing away from RT just saying SOS' job was damn hard). SOS is not done yet, and won't be satisfied until he has at least one (my guess is 2 maybe 3 if we get one quick) win on the first weekend of DEC in Atlanta. Reality is setting in and they cannot stand it at all. I LOVE IT!

Are you kidding me? They aren't envious and don't want to be us? Really?? These people can't see the forest for the trees. If they aren't jealous, then why, oh why are they tripping over themselves to jump ship from a conference that they helped found, just won for the first time in 20 years, and could absolutely dominate if FSU left and they got their collective heads out of the a**?

The answer, they are terrified and any of them that tells you differently is completely out of his mind. There isn't one of them that wouldn't trade places with USC and be in the SEC. They are willing to jump to a conference that is dominated by one school politically just to get a taste of what we have. Denial, denial, denial!!! Dabo has rubbed off on all of them.
