bye weeks before thursday night games aren't atypical, and I would almost guarantee their opponents also have bye weeks going into the thursday night games as well. A few years back, ESPN instituted the policy that teams playing a thursday night game both had to either play or have the week off going in, since any disparity translates into a huge advantage for one team.
