Well, you know some on this board think our loss to Auburn ended ours. On another note, that same Kyle Parker that so many were worried about sure had some great stats today... Go Canes!!

Worried? Doubtful, but it sure does tell you just how bad BOYD must suck doesn't it, that he wasn't put into the game.

My point is that after we played Furman the prevailing sentiment on here and other gamecock boards seemed to be that Furman was a really good FCS team.

To be fair, we did end their QB's season and I'm pretty sure he was a BCS recruit who transferred.

Actually the QB they still have, Worley, is the QB who started the game for them against us. They were playing 2 qbs though and now they're down to one.

Got to love the fact that people can down vote a post. quite comical that grown-ups like doing this. For the record Snoop, I agree with your post and believe that Furman exploited some problem areas in our defense.

The point is clear to me,,,,we struggled with Furman, Wofford didn't. Wait a minute...we usually struggle with Wofford too!

Wofford is always good now apart from being very average last season. The SoCon years ago always had the big three teams of Georgia Southern, Furman, and App State... but it's had the big four now with Wofford for quite a few years. Furman losing to Wofford definitely (imo) does not close the door on their chance to win the SoCon.
