Baseball is in the World Series two weeks after a 162 game schedule. Football is great but is only 1 to 2 days a week. Hockey follows a great format like the NBA and is very entertaining but it is still talking.
The NBA gives me 1-2 games per night every night of the week. It last two months and into June which is normally an abysmally unexciting season for sports. I get 7 game series between teams with recognizable stars for the most part and the storylines are usually compelling.
Right now the only series that is really boring is Phi/Boston and that is only because Rose got hurt. Eastern and Western Conference finals should be even better.
The NBA is as good as I can remember it being. There is a group of 8-10 really good teams that are capable of making a run, all of which have recognizable personalities on their teams.
Cue all the NBA haters who "haven't watched since Jordan".
