This is SEC football...............

  • Muschamp and Sumlin trading jabs over the first game of the season. Dang it, I love the SEC.

  • I moved to Columbus, Ga when I was a young man of about 18. USC had not yet moved to the SEC..so I was not acclimated to SEC mentality at that time. It was summer...and all the guys I worked with talked college football all the time....I mean all the time. I was shocked by that. There is definately something special about being a part of the SEC.

    It is.

I lived in Minnesota for about 5 yrs. They were nuts about the Vikings, but did not really care about college football. I am still having a hard time figuring them out.

I've got a Taterhead friend that lives in Minnesota now. She said no one up there really cares about college football and she doesn't know anyone that goes to see the Gophers.

GameockTripp, I love your picture of your son addressing the golf ball. Man that's awesome. I have tons of pix just like that with my son. He's a rising Sr in high school and has played on the golf team since 6th grade. You'll have no greater pleasure than watching him play tournament golf as he gets older! Enjoy every minute of it!!

BTW - SEC Football in the South is like Mashed Potatos and gravy! They just go together!

  • We have SEC happy hours in San Francisco. I seriously doubt another conf can claim that.
