UGA deserves Atlanta..

don't care about schedules. Tired of hearing about it. Fact is, in our biggest game of the year, against UF, we lost composure ,lost the game, and lost any chance at the East.
UGA, on the other hand, had the same shot, against the same team, with the same goals on the line. I hate uga, but they took care of business and earned the east.
Maybe next year....

On a neutral field. Also did not play two top ten programs just before it either. Schedule was their friend, which is why they were picked to win the East pre season.

UGA didn't have to play them in The Swamp coming off a game agains LSU in Death Valley. Yes, by the rules, they deserve it. The fact remains, however, they benefitted greatly from a scheduling standpoint. I hope Bama or LSU hangs 50 on them.

One could also say that UGA had their shot against us...and failed. If it comes to tiebreakers then, obviously, everyone failed at some point.

The difference between USC, UF, and UGA is that USC played In Baton Rouge at night.
BTW, I'm all for tradition and pageantry, but in conference neutral site games are garbage also. It is ridiculous that UGA and Florida never have to play in each others stadiums.

We have what hapoened to perhaps the greatest Gamecock ever today, and we start a thread about uga deserving the east. What uga deserves is to get embarrassed in atl by bama, and I cant wait to enjoy it. The uf game didnt screw us the lsu game did. Screw this entire thread and uga. Roll Tide!

agree and east w/l totals should only be determinate of the winner of the east. two years in a row schedule picks east winner, not play on the field. its BS!
