It just seems to me that the golf job here would be really tough. There are a lot of teams that have a course on, or practically on, campus. I was a little taken aback reading about the practice center that they will be utilizing on Hwy 321 - maybe one of the ugliest areas in the midlands.

Seems like everyone was genuinely excited about the new practice facility . From pro golfer and alum Kyle Thompson :

"I just wanted to be a part of it. Being a part of the golf team is a big part of my history and I really wish we had had something like this when I was in school," Thompson said, smiling. "I think this is going to be huge especially on the recruiting trail. This is going to help put USC up with anybody in the country as far as facilities so I really think this will help us do what we need to do to compete for national championships."

I think that is ridiculous...........build a golf course for the golf team ! LOL ! To purchase the land ,pay a golf course architect,build the course,maintain the course.......is HUGE expense.

Clemson sure finds a way to do it.
