Our stats are great with Lattimore who was lost for the game. On the otherhand our D could not stop them to save their life.

I'm still stunned. Every season is like this. All week long I never bought into the "trap" game stuff for one simple reason. I truly believed we were better than Kentucky and not just a little bit better, but a LOT! First half could easily have been 42-7 but even at 28-10 we were killing them. Lattimore getting hurt didn't help but the defense was pathetic. Second half they gave up 3rd and 10, 3rd and 14, and 3rd and 13 and then on the most crucial play of the game, let who else but #18 run FREE! The pass defense looked just like the Auburn game and for some dumb reason I thought we had moved past that weak soft crap last week.

I honestly don't know if I can put myself thru this for the rest of the year. Sucks even worse since Florida lost. It's simply amazing that every thing good that came out of last week can be thrown away in 30 minutes of football. I really am almost speechless after that performance. If you've ever seen the old Eddie Murphy/Dan Akroyd movie Trading Places that is pretty much how I felt. At the end of the movie the two old guys that Murphy/Akroyd get even with are begging to open the stock exchange back up after realizing they have just been busted.

This will be a long miserable week but as a SC fan, I won't hear anything I haven't heard before. I hope the team let's this go cause at this point, the season could go almost anywhere. Finally we have some signs of an offense, have been much better against the run, and damned if we can't stop anyone's passing game!

Really makes you just want to quit putting yourself thru the hassle!

To the Garcia fans out there...Does anyone believe we would have lost that game with Hartline as our quarterback? The 3 play sequence when we were ahead 14-0 was the best example of why Garcia drives me crazy. On first down he throws a short pass over the middle (to a WIDE open reciever) WAY too hard. On second down he badly overthows a WIDE open reciever that would have been a touchdown. Then on third down he makes an ill advised throw into coverage that cost us momentum. We had our foot on their throats and these three plays changed the entire complexion of the game. Not to mention the last 1:09 of the game. At 1:09 we get the ball...at :27
we have run three plays with no seeming sense of urgency...We wasted a ton of time and a quarterback HAS to be your coach on the field. I don't question his grit...But a student of the game, he is not.

I have to agree. How do you loose to Cobb when you have to know that he is going to get the pass attempt. Please explain that to me. We have the players and the coaches, no excuse to not score a dam point in the second half.

TOTALLY AGREE WITH RICHCOCK COACING LOST THIS GAME ON DEF OUU BACKS PLAY SOFT SO WE WONT GET BEAT DEEP WELL THEY DID US DEEP ANYWAY BLOWN COVERAGE HELL THEY LOOK CONFUSED.
ON OFF. ON OUR LAST POSSION WE USED OUR LAST TWO TIMEOUTS WHEN THE CLOCK WAS ALREADY STOPPED, WHEN DID WE GET LES MILES AS OUR COACH BECAUSE OUR CLOCK MGT WAS AWFUL.

Sorry if this is just a repeat i havent read any of the other ventilations yet! So how do our coaches not know this team by now?Maddox is not an every down back, when has he ever been? Scruggs is 5th on the rotation at WR and you want him to win the game at this juncture in his career? DL played a great game, OL played a great game, where was Miles and the change of pace back? Swearinger as a kick returner? We need to coach them up on how to stop momentum. Who is gonna make a play on defense to make that happen. This game reminded me of the UNC game a few years ago....if we dont win the east that second half will be a haunting memory until we do win it!

This may be the only time I can remember the coaches losing a game. Explain to me how we dominate 'Bama on defense only to get schooled by UK?! Did you see the confusion of the EJ's face on TV in the press box on the 4th and 9 (or whatever)? If there is any chance the coverage/scheme is in question on that play, call a freaking timeout, afterall its only the game on the line. No way you let Cobb run down the field without someone even noticing him. #8 didn't beat us last week, but no. 8 sure as hell beat us this week. That soft coverage is junk, especially with the way the DL was getting pressure on Hartline, why not try and give them a split second more to get to him and/or disrupt the route/timing. It was a freaking joke and UK's coaches exploited the hell out of it.
Offensively, what in the hell has Kenny Miles done to not even get a freaking carry? And hey coach, throw the last ball to the middle of the field and get a few more yards, take the TO and let SL kick the field goal, go into OT and see what happens. What a damn joke! We don't want success, I have never seen a program more scared of succeeding.

Are you kidding me, Alshon will be the best dam receivers we have had at USC. Remember the one handed catch last week to change the game.

You are correct about the dbs and coach E earning 700gs for what?

I decided not to say anything last night after my 7 yr. old daughter thought that I was half crazy for fussing at the TV. How do you logically explain such behavior to a 7 yr. old?
