I sat near Victor Hampton in a Human Sexual Behavior class last Spring. Let's just say after some of the comments he made in class, he is one of my favorite players on the team. Very funny dude.
"Yeah, now, well, the thing about the old days: they the old days."
There are two main people to credit here. The coaching staff, and Dylan Thompson. Dylan took a liking to Vic, and Vice versa, and Vic has come to depend on his 'family'- the team. I've talked to Vic before, and he lives and breathes his team, and his teammates. He wants to be the best CB to ever play at USC. From what I gather, Vic hasn't had a whole lot of people who believed in him in his life. People nagged him to do right because they wanted him to play football, and that isn't the way to get a kid to buy in. He now has people who support him, and believe in him, and that goes a LONG ways with young people. Kudos to the environment Spurrier has created.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
Wasn't this site saying they seriously doubted that he would be on the team next year? Obviously I hope that's wrong, I think he's turned his life around and he's a really good football player.
