I though I read on the Tater sites that it was surrounded with warehouses, slums and skyscrapers.

They need to level some of those old buildings and turn them into fairgroundish areas

If we could bury power lines all around the stadium it'd be wonderful. It's one of those things most people don't consciously notice when canvassing the area, but it's always a negative.

Funny you said that.... I almost started a thread last night about just that. They are slowly running out of ways to degrade us because everything they are used to bad mouthing is slowly going away. The area around the stadium is just one of many improvements that they are insanely jealous about. The new video board, the game day condos, the fairgrounds, the baseball stadium... we're moving up, they are moving down..

I remember having a conversation with a tater a couple of years ago about the area around the stadium. He was talking trash about how beautiful the climpsun campus was, and the trees and nature and shit like that, so when I visited his his tailgating spot I laughed my ass off. He was in the back parking lot of a building with nothing but Kudzu behind it and he was 25 feet from the frickin dumpster. I gave him hell.
