I am happy for Whammy and think he has earned the right to take charge of the D. I wonder who will coach the DB's now. And coach the LB's ?

The big adjustment will be coaching from the booth for Whammy. Does anyone know who was in the booth with Ellis? Wasn't another defensive coach in the booth?

Well... Kinda underwhelmed... It's okay as okay goes... We'll see but you must wonder the commitment level to the assistant coaches as we're one of hte lowest paid staffs in the SEC.

Does he have to coach in the booth? I would think he could still coach dbs as well, EJ was a position coach as well.

I'm happy for Ward and he deserves it. However, a bit underwhelming indeed when you have one of the best DCs in the country Mike Stoops in the mix. I don't know how you don't go get that guy, especially given he's buddies with Spurrier and how the DC for Spurrier is essentially HC of the Defense.
