Way Early (Pre-Spring Depth Chart

  • Now until a player declares for the draft or decides not to come back, or is enrolled at USC I dont have him listed. I think the only exception I have is the guys that I know of that are expected to come in this week. If Alshon's brother is as good as advertised and half as good as Alshon could you imagine them being on the field together? If the big three come back next year can even be better than this year.

  • Has Addison already transferred out?

    Jmtay10512

  • Damario jeffery is a LB and Holloman will be the Spur

    KAHWood

  • If gilmore and Taylor come back our defense will be even better than this years. Cant wait to see quarles and clowney after a year in the weight room

    00Ws6

  • Shell is going to be good but I doubt he will start before Matulis who has already seen significant playing time.

  • Damario is listed as the Backup Spur, and I just dont see him sitting on the bench at LB because of Shaq and Bowers will be the starters verses starting at Spur. Now he could move over and rotate in and out. Just have to see who will perform better at the Spur.

I think JC and Tony think Shell is a RT also. I think Matulis starts at LT next year.

  • There is some that believe that Shell is the best OL on the team. He only red shirted to fix a bummed shoulder from a high school injury. One way or another it will be fun to watch.

  • My guess at starters

    QB Shaw
    WR Sanders
    WR Smith
    WR Jeffrey
    RB Lattimore
    FB Wilson
    LT Shell
    LG Cann
    C Johnson
    RG Patrick
    RT Nautilus

    DE Taylor
    DT Quarles
    DT Fordham
    DE Clowney
    MLB Wilson
    WLB Bowens
    Spur Holloman
    CB Auguste
    S Swearinger
    S Royster
    CB Hampton

Maybe switch the tackles. Could see Jeffrey challenge Bowens. Brison Williams maybe over Sheldon. Not sure on second defensively tackle. Think Aldrick goes into camp as starter. I would like to see Byron get slot of work as an offensives guard to see what began do. Hope brock stadnick redshirts but if he plays i think it will be at RG. Also wouldn't mind seeing bowens at MLB some if Jeffrey is the WLB.
