We'll beat The Citadel like a rented mule

  • Does everyone agree?

That said, with how much of a lead and at what point in the game do we begin inserting the second-teamers?

Which second-teamers are you most looking forward to seeing play?

My opinions...beginning of the fourth quarter if we have a 21 point lead and a tie between Chaz Sutton and JT Surratt.

    Spurrier...I appreciate him plenty

Would it be wrong to beat them by 100?

I'd like our 4th string QB to throw for 300 yds.

  • I'd like to see Kenny Miles get some good action. Pretty sure it will be his last time with any carries in a USC uniform, and I've really liked his attitude since he's been passed on the depth chart.

We should put in 2nd stringers right when we're up by 28+ in the second half.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing the reserves play in the third quarter if we're up by 28.

I doubt we would run off a redshirt junior that has been a solid contributor.

  • I think once we are up 28 in the second half then the starters start coming out.

I'd like to see Kenny Miles, Dylan, Jerideau, and Damiere Byrd.

I'd also like to see Alshon get over 100 and a TD.

I wonder if maybe he will leave after the year? Doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would, but he will likely be fourth string next year.

  • My big question is why does everyone think it is ok to beat a rented mule. Is it just because he is rented? If he were owned would you not beat him? Or is it because he is a mule and you would beat him whether he is rented or not? Is beating a rented mule a worse beating than beating a drum or just different?

Rented mules or rental cars, they just get abused.

  • As a born Gamecock and a graduate of El Cid, the rented mule comparison is correct here. My Team A will beat My Team B like a rented mule. I would like to save some points for next weekend however. Can we hold some in reserve?
