Went by the Farmers Market today

Part of this may be redundant for some of you, but I've got a few pictures as well. First thing, I knew the place was big but being out there made me realize how big everything was. It's a huge piece of property.
The shed was bigger than I thought as well. I know the RVs will be parking around it, but will normal spots be sold underneath?
The power hookups will be extremely convenient. The best spots in the lot will be around the big oak trees. They're in a prime location and also close to the bathrooms. For some reason I thought the power hookups would be along the garnet way as well but they aren't. That also means that Tailgate Guys will be using generators for all their spots.
Overall everything looks good. In a few years when the trees have matured a bit it will be even better.

Here's a photo of the fenced in property near the road. It was bigger than I thought as well.
The construction up front seems like something mainly in the sidewalk, but I'm not sure if it's related to her area or not.
Another question: Are there any plans for the green space up front surrounding this? It's a massive open area.

What kind of trees did we plant throughout? How big do they get when they are fully mature? Just trying to picture the scene years and years down the line when the trees are fully grown.

I had heard that a bunch of garnet oaks were planted but when I googled to see what they looked like, nothing came up. I may be wrong.

I too was surprised at how big that property is. It goes pretty deep.
That front area will be like the entertainment area. Where the bad comes to play. Maybe even broadcast area foe pre-game.

I'm interested in knowing this too. I can't really see the leaves in any of the pictures so it's hard to tell.
P.S. I haven't ever heard of anything called a Garnet Oak, but if that's the case it would be awesome.

There are a lot of different tree types, but the Garnet Way is lined in garnet (scarlet) oaks. They get big quickly.

I think that's where they should have put the Tailgate Guys or back in the Temp parking behind the Quads.

Yes, we have our two normal spaces as in years past under the shed. Looking forward to tailgating in the new and improved area. I've ridden by there several times this summer and it looks outstanding! By the way, there is an "open house" on August 25 for people utilizing this parking area to tour.

Reference growth rate of trees. Oaks are of course hardwoods, and one of the densest hardwoods. All hardwoods are among the slowest growing trees which is one of the reasons the wood is so strong. Especially so for Oaks and a few other types. Slower growing, stronger and longer lived are hardwood qualities versus softwoods and lense dense hardwoods.

The trees are primarily a combination of live oaks, scarlet oaks, white oaks, black gums, lindens, princeton elms, ginkos, and long leaf pines. Good diversity and all will grow tall over time. Good fall color. Good shade potential.
