What is this News about Horn blaming the fans

Listening to the radio they are saying Horn has put some info out there about USC. Blaming the fans and blaming history. He done a report with the Lexington paper or something.

Horn is on ESPNu now he is talking to a pannel about recruiting at Carolina and other topics. Right when it went to him the ticker went across and said Frank Martin is hired at USC and they are putting Horn on the spot.

Horn basically insinuated that you can't win at USC. I wonder when he came to that conclussion? And, did it rub off on any players? Was he coaching with the belief that he couldn't win? Was he putting in complete effort if he thought it was pointless?
He showed his true colors.

The interview I read asked Horn about his future and he said he would take his time but he was open to high major assistant job or a head coaching job in a place where he thought he had a good chance to win.
One can certainly take that as an implied comment on USC (or not) if you were inclined to do so, but I don't see what the point of worrying about it would be.

Last time I watched I don't remember any fans taking any shots or coaching any games. Very unprofessional to put down the team that gave you your first shot.

+1. If it was a shot, it was pretty subtle. I didn't read it as such, but I'm sure some will. We got the coach we (or at least I) wanted. Best to just move on and enjoy the ride rather than dwell on the past.

He made some comments about recruiting at USC and how football is king and some other stuff. He made comments about the taters and Basketball being king in the ACC. I don't want to say to much I'm not sure if they were shots maybe subtle. I haven't heard but very few bits and pieces. They are about to review what was said on the halftime show. They have been talking about Martin for awhile and here and there made comments about Horn's remark's.

Horn NEVER took accountability for anything. I have no sympathy for him. It's his own fault he cannot Coach a lick.

They have said this twice but they are about to talk about Horn's remark on 107.5. They are also about to have someone on to talk about Martin and him coming to USC.

We were in the top 25 in average attendance the year before Horn got here. The fans will be there if we have a decent team.

Obviously I want to coach again but next time I want to make sure I have a chance to win He says he will do better homework looking into the history of winning at the school. No coaching jobs are easy. He will pick a school where the fans can be used in a recruiting asset. I couldn't type fast enough for word for word but this is the jiff. He is taking subtle jabs at USC. He said there is a reason the sweet 16 was filled with teams with fan following. USC is to close to ACC country. SC doesn't have a great depth for recruiting. The players in SC want to play at UNC not USC you have to go out of State. He is blaming every one but himself. These guys are taking up for USC and comparing Horn and what he had when he came here and what Staley had and where they both are now. There is no excuses. Horn sounds pretty sad IMO.

Fogler didn't seem to have an issue winning at usc. .. He hardly recruited out of state to accomplish it. He also hated the aau process that rules recruiting.
Horn is to blame for his failure. Recruiting and personnel development are the huge factors... That being said he is getting a large check to remain no longer work for the university that he failed as a coach. Wish we all could be so fortunate
