    Shaun Smith
    Matt Raysor

    J. Adkisson
    J. Barnes
    M. Barnes
    Q. Richardson
    L. Freeman
    K. Young
And I think we all knew this would eventually turn out to be a complete waste of a scholarship:
    A. Clifford

I agree with Clifford. He literally did more bad than good during his career. Not only a bad fb player, but was also a bad influence on SG. I'm so glad he's gone.

So no Agreement with Freeman so far? Hurley and Summers are 2a 2b for me but Freeman just still blows my mind

No one really gets excited about JUCO receivers.

My votes: Lawrence Mitchell and the O-line class (1996, I think). Scott signed a solid class with 5 or 6 guys who could have played and helped. Injuries derailed the whole class. I think 1 of them eventually contributed.

Isn't Clifford still on the team?

I remember this name but can't place him.
    Was he a running back?

  • I thought Carlos Thomas was going I be great. Thought q rich, kevin young, and hutch were both going to be great. And if you think about it, if those guys pan out we probably have even better seasons in 08,09,10. Horrible o line play during that stretch aside from spots in 10. Thought freakin gerrod Sinclair was going to be big time at olb. Thought Dakota walker would be good too.

Players I knew were going to be busts. Oj Murdock- all speed but film made him seem like he wasnt very good at receiver.
Jason Barnes- reported to have all the measureables, but he didn't have very good stats at a school that was very good and passed a fair amount. Also looked slow on film and didn't use his body or catch with his hands very well.
Joe hills- never saw his film but no one else wanted him as a wr. Everyone else was recruiting him as a freakin linebacker. After playing bball with him once I can't believe people ever wanted him as a linebacker. Small frame and not very explosive. Was six three and couldn't even dunk the ball?
Mark barnes- thought he'd be a great one during the recruiting process. Played basketball with him once and there was nothing that really separated him athletically from most of us white guys.
Larry freeman- juco three star who wasn't that fast and didn't have great stats in juco.

Guys who turned out great who I wasn't high on

    Dj swearinnger
    Shaq Wilson
    Deon lecorn
    Devin Taylor
Clifton geathers, well for a couple of games at least
    Stony Woodson

Recent players who werent as good as I thought but have a chance to prove me wrong
    Demario jeffery
    Quin smith
    Reggie bowens

    Roisin Dubh

  • Dakota Walker is a good name that was brought up. Thought he was gonna be a freak on D. Jarvis Giles was first recruit to really excite me on offense. Turned out to be a quitter. Summers was a bust as a person, not so much a player. Other busts in my mind include:

    Kevin Young
    OJ Murdock
    Chris Smelley
    Randy Jackson
    Ricardo Hurley
    Marque Hall
    Aryhel Freeman
