The problem is that unless you are really know AAU basketball and understand how basketball recruiting works and who all is involved then you do not really know what the "gray area" is.
Honestly, I am not trying to put down anybody although this is going to come across that way but many fans and media really have no clue. You have to be on the circuit and be around it a lot to understand how the AAU teams, the hanger ons and AAU coaches work. It is easy to paint it all with a broad brush and say this is all bad.
Every coach works in the "Gray area" to some extent.
