Worry about what you can't control all

  • you want. I'm going to enjoy this season. We have some players who don't come along very often. So, I'll tailgate and avoid all conversation of probation and sanctions when possible. I have a 5 minute "bitching" limit at my tailgate. Everybody gets 5 minutes each but then they need to shut up and enjoy themselves. Makes Saturdays so much more enjoyable.

  • I'm not going to worry about it at all. I think at the most we lose a few schollies, and a couple years probation. Why sit back and worry about something I have no control of, and that will probably not end up as bad as some on here want to believe.

  • Well said. At the end of the day I don't think it'll be something that harms our program irreparably anyway.

  • Excellent post! I'm not worried at all and I don't think the players are worried either. This is going to be a memorable year for the Gamecocks because of what will happen on the field - not off the field.

  • Same thing at my tailgate. After we won the Navy game, you would have thought we just lost 63-17 to Clemson. Some people just have to complain about the players, coaches and final score no matter what really happens. I too will enjoy this season and leave the distractions to others.

Yes ...it's getting to the point where I am wondering if I were better off just getting Spurs and Feathers once a week instead of reading all this crap from a lot of the posters.
Y ou look forward all winter long for the season to start and then here come the would-be coaches and would -be QB's spouting their drivel about what should have been done ya da ya da ya da .

  • Claymation,
We use this restaurant in the Bank of America Plaza, First Floor for our tailgate needs....We've been real happy with them so far.
