I have to agree somewhat. I wish we would not have changed last season. The original UA jerseys were bad ass.

I think using different uniform options would be a good idea, its not like we have traditional uniforms like Alabama, uf, lsu etc

Our helmets suck. All the old farts love the block "C". I'm a old fart myself at 52 but out helmet design needs to be streamlined. It's not recognizable at a distance. Just put the Gamecock ( a more stylized design) on the helmet and instead of "Carolina" across the chest, it should read "Gamecocks". If you're watching on TV (or even in the stands) you know you're watching South Carolina. You want to put the "Gamecock" brand out there.

I agree. Im not really a fan of under armours designs across the board for college teams tbh. Id like to see us rebrand similar to the way Arizona state did this past year.

I never really understood the whole "It's not recognizable from a distance" excuse. It's not like you can't tell from your seats and from TV who we are. Maybe if a group of kids in Carolina helmets were robbing a bank and you were on a street corner from a distance, THEN it would make a difference but I just don't get it.

the only thing I would change about the helmet is making the block C and gamecock bigger....thats it...

yep...We are definitely the worst.
Even this mock up looks 100 times better. Using the SC on the helmets would give us so much more flexibility.

Kentucky is awul...royal blue helmmets and the two tone checker board design is putrid. Their logo is also terrible....

I was going to make a thread about this the other day, but seriously why don't we have garnet helmets?
We should have garnet helmets. I think the past several months have shown that if the fans support something enough, they can have some influence.
If most people were asked I think they would prefer garnet helmets, why not push for it?

Hard to ask for continuity and then say change helmets in the same breath.
Garnet helmets were really only worn from '83-1998. White for the most part the rest of our history.
Last years jersey's sucked, but they didn't bother me. Never much of a uniform person. Did like 2010 stuff.
If it were up to me, we'd go back to the 1980 jersey and helmet combo, all the way down to the fishnet jerseys. Those unis were bad ass!

I say go crazy like Oregon does cause we don't have a ton of Uniform Tradition. It would be interesting to see us have a "feather" look kind of like oregon's duck feather shoulders but on the whole uniform

i would be down for having a ton of uni combos like oregon since we dont have the uni tradition but we also dont have the nike billionare. i think UA guy is maryland

I like our unis. They could make the CAROLINA and the numbers a little bigger, but other than that I think they are pretty sweet. I love our helmets, too; I think they are very recognizable.
